ReFood seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Shift Engineer for their state-of-the-art Anaerobic Digestion plant in Dagenham. The role is full-time on a 4-on-4-off 12-hour shift pattern, days and nights, including weekends.
You will perform risk assessments, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work both independently and as part of a team.
The ReFood AD plants operate as integrated recycling units, processing a variety of food wastes to produce renewable energy, heat and ReGrow, a nutrient-rich fertiliser for local farms. The plants also recycle the food waste packaging. The plants provide an environmentally sustainable solution for all waste producers looking for a safe method of diverting food waste from landfill.
