CV Technical is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a modern food manufacturing site in Bottesford, Leicestershire. You will join a proactive engineering team focused on reliable equipment, continuous improvement and capital projects.

The role suits an apprentice-trained Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Electrician with experience in manufacturing, offering a competitive salary up to £44,027 per annum and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

Apprentice-trained multi-skilled engineer or electrician.
Experience in manufacturing environments.
Strong electrical and/or mechanical maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

Respond quickly to critical breakdowns.
Carry out planned preventive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and reliability improvements.
Support improvement projects from identification through to implementation.
Use Root Cause Analysis techniques to prevent recurring breakdowns.
Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Work alongside production and engineering stakeholders to minimise downtime.
Share knowledge and learning across the engineering team.
Maintain accurate engineering records and complete relevant documentation.
Update the maintenance management system with completed work details.
Work safely and follow Health & Safety, hygiene, quality and company procedures.
