Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing site in Ilkeston. You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Join a supportive engineering team and contribute to continuous improvement across site machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operations and opportunities to develop both electrical and mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
• Experience working on automated production machinery and industrial equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults quickly and effectively to minimise production downtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on site equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive and preventive maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to minimise downtime and maintain safe operations.
