Ernest-Gordon-Recruitment-Limited is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a large food manufacturer in Gloucester. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on conveyors, packaging lines, roller mills and purifiers, ensuring reliable operation across the site.

The role offers stable hours with a double days shift (6am–3pm and 1pm–10pm) and a 1 in 3 call-out rota. Experience in manufacturing/production is essential, with commutable distance to Gloucester required.

• Experience as Maintenance Engineer in a Manufacturing/ FMCG environment.
• Ability to work set hours with no overtime.
• Commutable distance to Gloucester.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance of manufacturing/production machinery such as conveyors, packaging lines, roller mills and purifiers.
• Work on conveyors, packaging machinery, roller mills and purifiers to keep lines running efficiently.
• Operate within a double days shift (6am–3pm and 1pm–10pm) with a 30-minute unpaid break.
• Participate in a 1 in 3 call-out rota (nights not specified).

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer or similar from a Manufacturing/Production background, looking for a stable role with set working hours and no overtime, working on a large site with a variety of old, refurbished, and new machinery?

On offer is the opportunity to work for an established food manufacturer with over 50 years of industry experience, as part of a small and skillful Engineering team, in a varied and exciting role working on a variety of Manufacturing machinery?

In this role you will be responsible for both planned and reactive Maintenance on a variety of manufacturing machinery including but not limited to conveyors, packaging machinery, roller mills, and purifiers.

This role would suit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or similar from a Manufacturing/Production background, looking for a stable role with set working hours and no overtime, at a well-established food manufacturer.

The Role

• Planned and reactive maintenance of a variety of Manufacturing/Production machinery
• Working on conveyors, packaging machinery, roller mills, and purifiers
• Double days shift, rotating between Monday to Friday 6am – 3pm, and 1pm to 10pm, with a 30-minute un-paid break
• 1 in 3 call out Rota, Monday to Sunday 10pm – 6am
