Synergi Search & Select Limited recruits a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading FMCG site in the UK. You will maintain and improve automated production equipment with emphasis on electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong multi-skilled maintenance experience, with electrical maintenance essential.
• Relevant electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications.
• Previous maintenance experience within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Experience working with automated production environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a shift-based engineering team.
• Positive attitude towards change, new technology and ongoing development.
• Genuine passion for engineering and improving equipment performance.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production and site equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Maintain automated, network-linked processing and packaging machinery.
• Work with PLCs, inverters, control panels, electrical supplies and CMMS systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, motors, drives, mixers, extruders, ovens and associated equipment.
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, steam systems, pipework and valves.
• Support continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.
• Work closely with production teams to optimise machinery performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and uphold health & safety standards.
