Job summary
Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. in Stockport seeks a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform electrical maintenance and installation duties on a range of fabric processing machinery.
The role reports to the Production Manager and requires hands-on, proactive work in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3 in electrical maintenance or installation, strong fault-finding skills and experience in a manufacturing setting, with a willingness to support
Qualifications
- Apprentice trained or equivalent, NVQ Level 3 in electrical maintenance or installation.
- Strong fault finding skills and the ability to interpret schematic drawings.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment—ideally textiles or a paper mill.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs across fabric machinery and related equipment.
- Install armoured cabling, lighting and power for new machinery across the site.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance on factory services and equipment.
