Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a site in Cardiff, South Wales. The role offers a salary between £49,500 and £57,500 DOE and includes a profit share and comprehensive benefits package.

You will support maintenance across a range of plant and machinery, focusing on continuous improvements, fault diagnosis, and reducing scrap while working with gear boxes, pumps, motors, and PLCs. Experience in manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3 required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is essential.
• Strong fault finding and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the engineering team by carrying out systematic tasks and continuous improvements to plant and machinery to improve existing manufacturing processes.
• Use initiative to identify areas that will improve production performance, line utilisation and reduce scrap.
• Provide maintenance support regarding projects.
• Work on a variety of equipment including gear boxes, pumps, motors, bearings, drives, inverters, relays, sensors, conveyors and PLCs.
