Our client is London based specialising in eco-friendly services and recycling

Job Role & Key Responsibilities:


Support maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production equipment and plant infrastructure, with a focus on electrical systems (70%) and mechanical systems (30%), ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems (motors, PLCs, control panels, sensors, circuits).

  • Perform electrical PPM, fault-finding, and compliance with regulations.

  • Assist with mechanical maintenance (pumps, conveyors, pneumatics/hydraulics).

  • Participate in installations, upgrades, and inspections for both electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Support energy efficiency and automation initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Electrical engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC).

  • Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.

  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn more.

  • Experience with PLCs and industrial automation.
Desirable Skills:

  • 17th/18th Edition wiring certification.

  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement.

  • Experience using CMMS.

  • Mechanical qualification or formal training.
