Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance engineering is essential.
  • Qualified at NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
  • Practical experience with PLCs and familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Work on a variety of machinery, particularly in packaging.
  • Engage in fault finding, ensuring adherence to health and safety.

Conti's (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off)



10% Annual Bonus (KPI Related) & £100 Per Month Bonus (KPI Related)



We are looking for a motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a globally recognised packaging manufacturer in Thrapston. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.



Role Description



  • Providing both Reactive & PPM maintenance

  • Working on a variety of machinery including packaging machinery

  • Being involved in Project Work

  • Fault Finding both Electrical & Mechanical

  • Adhering To All Health & Safety On Site

  • Working On PLC Controlled Machinery



Skills and Qualifications



  • Maintenance Engineering Experience

  • NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 In Electrical Engineering

  • PLC Experience

  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics

  • FMCG Production Experience - Advantageous
