Job Description:

Elevation has the pleasure of working with an industry-leading, bespoke manufacturing business based in Sheffield, which is looking to recruit an experienced Multi-skilled Technician with immediate effect!

Salary: £39,897 basic, 25% uplift on nights, 35% uplift for weekends!

Location: Sheffield

Hours: Days, afters, nights in peak times. Days and afters 5 months of the year.

Duties of a Multi-skilled Technician:

• Proactive approach focusing on preventative and reactive maintenance of infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems
• Attending to breakdowns
• Participating in continuous improvement projects
• Dealing with PPMs
• Working within a team environment
• Working with PLCs

Desired experience:

• At least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ)
• HNC and HND qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• Previous experience as a Multi-skilled Technician
• Willingness to work 1 week of nights and 1 Saturday morning during peak times
• Experience in fault finding in previous roles
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with PLCs
• Excellent communication skills (reading and spoken English)
• Open-minded and flexible to change based on business needs
