Salary: £44,000 - £47,000
Shift Pattern: Three Shift Rotation (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am), Monday to Friday
Are you a qualified Electrical Engineer looking to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business? My client, based in Middleton, Greater Manchester, is looking for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
The Role:
You’ll be part of a small team of three engineers responsible for ensuring smooth operation across the site through a mix of reactive and planned preventative maintenance. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where up time and reliability are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical maintenance on a range of production and plant equipment
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) routines
Respond quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and production teams
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
Time-served / Apprentice trained engineer
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
