Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
Location: Middleton, Greater Manchester
Salary: £44,000 - £47,000
Shift Pattern: Three Shift Rotation (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am), Monday to Friday

Are you a qualified Electrical Engineer looking to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business? My client, based in Middleton, Greater Manchester, is looking for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

The Role:
You’ll be part of a small team of three engineers responsible for ensuring smooth operation across the site through a mix of reactive and planned preventative maintenance. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where up time and reliability are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical maintenance on a range of production and plant equipment

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) routines

  • Respond quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and production teams

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

  • Time-served / Apprentice trained engineer

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
