Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias

Location: Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, DN21 1NG

Shift Pattern: 3 rotating shifts:

• 2 weeks of nights (10pm-6am)
• 1 week of afternoons (2pm-10pm)
• 1 week of earlies (6am-2pm)

Ideal candidates are apprentice-trained or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrical Engineering or higher.

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuous production by fault finding and maintaining equipment safely and logically.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems.
• Work on a variety of equipment, contributing to proactive maintenance strategies.

Candidate Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering; 18th Edition qualification is a plus.
• Experience with electrical systems in heavy industry or manufacturing.
• PLC fault-finding skills preferred, especially Siemens PLCs.
• Flexible approach to work activities and shift patterns.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Passion for engineering and continuous learning.
