Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the United Kingdom seeks a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias for an immediate start. This role involves ensuring the operation of automated systems, performing maintenance, and resolving issues in electrical and mechanical functions. Candidates should hold a City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering and have experience with PLC systems. The position offers a base salary of £45,000, shift allowances, and a structured work week with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on logistic maintenance experience.
• Strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Understanding of 16th/17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve mechanical or electrical issues quickly.
• Coordinate fault responses and maintenance tasks.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnose and repair faults in control panels and PLC systems.
• Replace belts, chains, bearings, and other machinery components.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
