Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team in the United Kingdom. The role involves identifying failure modes, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and coordinating with day teams to resolve long-term issues.

You will perform preventive maintenance, manage spares, and work toward Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules, with a salary up to £48,000 and opportunities for development within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineer role within manufacturing.
• Apprenticeship completed in maintenance engineering.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work under pressure and report accurately.

Responsibilities

• Identify failure modes of plant equipment and return to operation safely and promptly.
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
• Liaise with engineering day teams to resolve long-term issues.
• Locate spare parts using the maintenance management system and manage stores.
• Identify failure modes of electrical equipment and make preventive recommendations.
• Carry out preventive maintenance routines.
• Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with scheduling.
