Job summary

A fantastic opportunity for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a globally successful logistics and automation company, working at an automated distribution centre for a well-known retailer in Hertfordshire. This role offers hands-on maintenance of modern automated systems within a technically strong engineering team.

The package includes a salary of c£58k, a Panama shift pattern (12-hour days & nights), 24 shifts per year holiday, a 6% matched pension, plus a bonus

Qualifications

Apprenticeship-trained Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with Level 3 engineering qualification.
Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
Experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution or automated environments.
Knowledge of PLC control systems (Siemens S7 advantageous).

Responsibilities

Carrying out hands-on reactive and planned maintenance across automated equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
Supporting continuous improvement, reliability and cost-saving initiatives.
Keeping maintenance records accurate and up to date through the CMMS.
