Job Role & Key Responsibilities

Join a fast-paced food manufacturing team as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, focusing on mechanical maintenance to keep production and packaging lines running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain conveyors, packing lines, and production machinery
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults (pumps, gearboxes, bearings, valves)
  • Perform basic electrical fault-finding and minor repairs
  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance efficiently
  • Work in a clean, temperature-controlled (12°C) environment
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are upheld under pressure
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Mechanical maintenance experience in FMCG or food production
  • Hands-on knowledge of pumps, valves, gearboxes, and bearings
  • Basic electrical skills and fault-finding ability
  • Calm under pressure with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills
  • Mechanical Apprenticeship or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working with automated conveyors and picking/packing equipment
  • Background in fresh food production (a plus, but not essential)
