Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (Folkestone) is seeking a Temporary Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a 9-month contract in Folkestone, Kent. You will maintain production and plant equipment in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role covers planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding on mechanical, electrical, PLC and robotic systems, and continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on safety, quality and uptime.

Qualifications

• Experience in automated FMCG/manufacturing environments.
• Experience maintaining processing and packaging machinery.
• Fault finding on PLCs and robotic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance on production and plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Complete routine inspections and testing to ensure equipment operates within specification.
• Troubleshoot PLC and robotic systems where required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety, GMP, quality and environmental standards.
