Pioneer Selection Ltd in Chester is representing a well-established manufacturing business seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. In a fast-paced production environment you’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and help maximise machinery reliability and plant performance.

The role offers a clear career path with ongoing technical development and progression opportunities. Salary is £44,000–£45,000 with a 4 on 4 off days & nights shift, pension and life

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
• Experience carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and site equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently.
• Conduct both electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports.
