Job summary

Twinings Ovaltine is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for our Andover site. You will maintain and optimize mechanical and electrical systems in production and warehousing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Role requires flexibility to work a 3-shift weekly rotation (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am) and a strong background in manufacturing engineering. Full details available upon request during the process.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained electrical/mechanical engineer.
• C&G/NVQ3 in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• At least 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment - warehousing / distribution / logistics / process / production lines.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data and information.
• Overhauling and refurbishing of parts and equipment.
• Work cross functionally with teams in the organization to identify and systematically solve problems.
• Identify and implement machine modifications and upgrades.
• Develop documented training material and support in upskilling the operations team.
• Support in refining the equipment maintenance strategies through quality problem solving and implementation of best practice maintenance techniques.
• Deliver performance and improvement initiatives against agreed maintenance and operations KPI’s.
