About the Role

Location: Worksop • Salary: £40,000 • Shifts: Days – Monday to Friday / Early finish on Fridays • Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays – Option to buy or sell holidays

We're Hiring on Behalf of a Leading Engineering Manufacturer. Our client is a global engineering business supplying mission-critical products to a wide range of industries. Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair manual and CNC machinery, carrying out diagnostics and implementing effective repairs
  • Maintain site infrastructure, plant and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Assist in developing maintenance procedures and programs
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental guidelines
  • Interpret engineering drawings and O&M manuals, sourcing components as required
  • Support and train peers and apprentices where needed
  • Complete all quality checks and documentation accurately
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and project initiatives
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience maintaining manufacturing machinery and facilities
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship
  • Familiarity with CNC machine control systems (Siemens and Mazak desirable)
  • IPAF or forklift truck counterbalance licence (desirable)
  • Lifting and slinging experience (desirable)
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
