Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment is working with a growing reputable manufacturer based in Worksop. They are seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer due to company growth.

Salary: £57,000

Location: Worksop

Shifts: Bespoke shift pattern (Days and Nights) with 2 of 4 weekends

Duties:

• Carry out routine scheduled PPMs and respond promptly to equipment faults and breakdowns
• Diagnose breakdown problems
• Fit new parts and ensure equipment is functioning correctly
• Conduct root cause analysis of efficiency losses and major breakdowns
• Handle emergencies, unplanned problems, repairs, and support installations
• Identify opportunities to improve health and safety policies and procedures
• Fault find on PLCs
• Follow all site procedures (safety, engineering, hygiene, technical)
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with the day-based engineering team

Desired Experience:

• HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance (desirable)
• Level 3 (City & Guilds or NVQ) in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance
• Strong electrical knowledge and experience or willingness to develop it
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance engineer or technician
