Job summary

CV Technical is seeking a motivated Maintenance Engineer in Wolverhampton to join a market leading manufacturer. You will work under the engineering manager, covering both planned and reactive maintenance to keep the production facility running.

The role includes reactive and PPM maintenance, machine breakdowns, PLCs and drives, sensors and conveyors, with a strong emphasis on health and safety. Progression through training and a supportive team is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance roles within manufacturing.
• Electrical qualifications are desirable.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics helps.
• PLC experience is advantageous.
• Mechanical maintenance experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing both Reactive & PPM maintenance.
• Machine breakdown troubleshooting and repair.
• PLC, sensors, drives, relays and inverters support.
• Conveyors, bearings, belts and chains maintenance.
• Adhere to all on-site health and safety requirements.

Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.
