Role Overview:

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting both proactive and reactive maintenance in our fully automated manufacturing environment. Your duties include ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, optimizing asset availability, reducing downtime, carrying out repairs, performing inspections, and troubleshooting mechanical systems. You will work closely with a small team to foster a culture of safety and efficiency across our facilities.

Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (NVQ, HNC), or completion of an apprenticeship in maintenance engineering.
  • Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally within a kiln or furnace environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of controls and fault analysis.
  • Proven ability in reactive and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplined team.
