This company has a significant presence in the local area and is responsible for delivering key utilities to domestic/residential and commercial premises, primarily through several Combined Heat-Power plants as well as Renewable Energy assets covering technologies such as Solar PV and Heat Pumps.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of key company assets that provide heat, power, and chilled water to the surrounding area. This will include power generation and power transmission equipment, electrical distribution systems, and associated plant.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in carrying out electrical maintenance on large plant such as generators, switchgear, distribution boards, or similar. This experience can come from a variety of backgrounds such as building services, power generation, industrial electrical maintenance, or ex-forces (Navy, RAF, REME, Electrical Mechanics).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career by stepping into a highly specialised engineering position, where they will receive support from fellow engineers to expand their technical skillset across various systems, including generators, power transmission, and CHP.

The role:
