Synergi Search & Select seeks an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a contract in Wakefield. You will respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, carry out fault finding, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and support automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
The ideal candidate will work independently, adapt to shifts, and hold relevant engineering qualifications with a solid technical background, plus the right to work in the UK.

We are currently seeking experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers for an exciting contract opportunity supporting a busy manufacturing and production environment.
Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, carrying out effective fault finding and repairs.
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise production downtime.
Support the smooth and efficient operation of automated production equipment.
Work safely and independently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions across both electrical and mechanical systems.
Support production teams and other engineering colleagues as required.
Maintain high standards of health, safety and engineering compliance.
Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineer, with both electrical and mechanical capability.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience completing PPM and reactive maintenance.
Previous experience within a manufacturing, FMCG or food production environment.
The ability to work independently in a busy production setting.
A flexible approach to working shifts or days, depending on the requirement.
Relevant engineering qualifications and a strong technical background.
The right to work in the UK.
Experience within food manufacturing, bakery, FMCG, packaging or automated production environments.
Experience working with automated manufacturing machinery and production systems.
Previous contract engineering experience.
A broad range of electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
Previous experience working on high-volume production sites.
