Job description

Overview

You'll be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of a wide range of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC and manual lathes, mills and turning machines. Some CNC machines produce components that are manufactured to a tolerance of 10 microns, so your expertise and attention to detail are vital. The machines include DMG MORI 3/4/5 axis, STAR sliding head lathes, Herco and XYZ lathes.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of CNC and manual lathes, mills and turning machines (3, 4 and 5 axis).
• Manage preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and respond to unexpected breakdowns to ensure production and quality targets are met.
• Conduct calibration testing after repairs, including electrical safety checks where applicable.

Hours and Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:45 pm (12:00 noon on Friday); no night shifts or weekends. There is ample overtime available and a bonus. The company is busy with a full order book.

Qualifications
