Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in food manufacturing based in West Yorkshire?

Our client is looking for a mechanically biased Engineer to enhance the current team.

As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be apprentice trained to NVQ level 3, working a 4 on 4 off pattern offering £47K per annum.

The role

• Ensuring all manufacturing equipment is operating to the required standards to ensure safe operation and to maintain production requirements, quality standards, and report to the maintenance manager.
• Both reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed package machinery.
• Full diagnosis and implementation of corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintenance of all machinery mechanically.
• Undertake machine start-up and planned shutdowns as required.

• Apprentice trained to NVQ level 3 in maintenance engineering.
• Must be mechanically biased or multi-skilled.
• Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
