Contract Type: Permanent | Full Time - Double Days Monday to Friday

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer at their Stoke head office. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of plant machinery and site services, while supporting continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out engineering repairs, preventative maintenance, and project work to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate records for the PPM system and stock control for engineering stores.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient running of all plant machinery, adhering to health & safety regulations and reviewing risk assessments.
  • Support manufacturing teams to achieve targets by improving operational efficiencies.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to optimise energy efficiency and develop plant equipment.
  • Maintain and support compliance for factory services, including gas, electricity, water, compressed air, effluent, HVAC, PAT testing, LEVs, pressure vessels, and more.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and sub-contractors, promoting safe working practices and eliminating wasteful processes.

  • A proven background as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in a busy engineering team.
