Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

This is an ideal time for a dedicated and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Maintenance Team.

Role Overview

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure continuous production by minimizing downtime through safe, logical fault finding and maintenance of various equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.

Working 42 hours per week, the shift pattern includes days and nights, Monday to Sunday.

Required Skills
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience
  • Time served/apprentice trained, ideally with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent)
  • Understanding of the IEE 18th edition wiring regulations
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards and regulations
  • Practical, hands-on approach to maintenance
  • Extensive experience with plant maintenance and electrical fault finding
  • Ability to analyze and interpret maintenance issues for accurate diagnosis and recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with operatives, team leaders, maintenance, and production staff
