Candidates should possess hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance experience along with a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering. Shift patterns include both morning and evening schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of extrusion, mixing, and blending equipment is advantageous.
• Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

Job Description:

We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a prominent PVC manufacturing company near Huddersfield. Reporting to the Engineering Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and performance of the production facility.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to maintain production flow and meet delivery targets.
• Perform reactive, preventative, and planned maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Support site infrastructure and facilities.
• Install new mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Contribute to maintenance cost-saving strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance practices and regulations.
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of extrusion, mixing, and blending equipment is advantageous.
• Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Strong communication skills.
• Welding experience (MIG and Stick) is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical engineering drawings.

Salary & Benefits:

• Swing shifts: 6am - 2pm one week, 2pm - 10pm the next.
