Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location: Plymouth

Salary: 48,000 - 50,000

Hours: 12 Hour Shifts - DAYS

Zest has partnered with a client to find a proactive and skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their weekend team at a fast-paced food production site. You'll support production by ensuring equipment runs smoothly and efficiently through planned and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery
2. Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives
3. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
4. Maintain accurate maintenance records and support root cause analysis
5. Communicate effectively with production teams and other departments
6. Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety at all times

What we are looking for:

1. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
2. Strong fault-finding skills (with or without technical drawings)
3. Experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
4. A hands-on, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
