Job description

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to help provide reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment at our fully automated Peterborough site.

Salary: £49,000 Per annum, including shift allowance, paid monthly.

Shifts: 4 on 4 off Nights, working 18:00 to 06:00 40.25 hours per week with 30 minutes for lunch daily.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability.
2. Support the maintenance and wider team in working together to solve problems to keep our facility moving.
3. Maintenance is carried out in both ambient and cold store environment to a temperature of -18, just like working in a freezer; however, full cold store spec PPE and equipment is provided.
4. At times work using safety harnesses & on ladders at height.

Who we're looking for:

1. Mechanical apprenticeship or NVQ with Electrical Industrial Maintenance certifications and experience essential.
2. Experience of working with automation & PLCs.
3. Working safely at height trained.
4. Good interpersonal skills and enjoy being in a team.
5. Willingness to learn and improve your skills.
6. Able to drive to get to site.
