Job Description:

Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £50,000 - £52,000
Location: Nottingham
Shifts: Core hours worked at 6-7pm with typical hours per week rotating 6-3pm / 10-7pm. When the site expands, shifts are expected to change to 4 on 4 off days (potentially in a few months).

This role involves hands-on maintenance at a busy food manufacturing site in Nottingham. It is a 50/50 multi-skilled position with a mechanical bias, focused on equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and continuous improvement.

The Role:
  • Maintain systems including conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, and shaft changes
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults on production equipment
  • Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects to increase uptime and efficiency
  • Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize downtime and ensure production flow
