Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Orion is partnered with a fast-paced food manufacturing company based in Corby. They are recruiting for a highly experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.

Candidates must have FMCG & manufacturing experience and have the right to work in the UK.

Package:

• Competitive salary of £53,600, including shift premium DOE
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Upskilling opportunities and courses provided

• 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

Shifts:

• 4x Week shift rotation: Monday to Friday
• Week 1: 6am – 2pm
• Week 2: 8am – 4pm
• Week 3: 2pm – 10pm
• Night shift: 10pm – 6am (Sunday to Thursday)
• On-call 1 in every 3 shifts, paid at a premium rate

Experience Required:

• Experience with HMI’s, PLC’s, DCS’s & SCADA
• Confidence in instrument calibration
• PLC fault finding skills
• 18th Edition wiring regulations
• NVQ/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering
• Reactive maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience with hydraulics & pneumatics
• Machinery experience including conveyors, blenders, silos, check weighers, metal detectors, 3-phase motors, sensors

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining production line machinery in a food manufacturing setting
• Fault finding on PLCs
• Preventive and reactive maintenance
• Maintaining CMMS system
