Overview

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – 4 on 4 off Days/Nights, 14 shifts per month average. Up to £53,425 per annum depending on experience. Near to Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Looking to get more downtime? Are you a seasoned Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within the FMCG space? This opportunity is for an individual with time served maintenance skills to join a renowned FMCG company near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently repair various production machinery using both reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, including motors, control panels and various systems
• Confidence with PLC fault finding
• Demonstrate proficiency in both electrical and mechanical principles
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in the FMCG sector
• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering (BTEC, HNC, etc.)
• Possession of an 18th edition or any additional electrical qualifications is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
