A heavy plant manufacturing company based in Manchester is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for night shifts. This role involves maintaining a variety of machinery with 75% planned and 25% reactive maintenance. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, a proactive attitude, and holds an NVQ 3 or equivalent. Competitive salary offered between £47,000 and £49,000 per annum.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Location: Commutable from Stockport, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Wilmslow, Stretford and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

Working on a weekly rotation of; Week 1: Sunday to Tuesday, 6.00pm - 6.30am and Week 2: Sunday to Wednesday, 6.00pm - 6.30am

Reporting into the Maintenance Team Leader and Engineering Manager, your role will include:

• Supportive maintenance across a good and interesting mix of equipment and machinery.
• 75% of your work is planned preventative, project and continuous improvement work. 25% is reactive, attending to and resolving breakdowns.
• Working across a range of work including belts, bearings, motors, sensors, gears, relays, PLC's, pumps, drives, 3 phase, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
• Help support continuous improvements to machinery, planned shutdowns
• You will be given a company mobile phone to access maintenance system app, used to help you access outstanding jobs, pass on information such as completed jobs, troubles encountered and uploading/downloading diagrams etc.
