Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Day Shift)
Commutable from Luton, Stevenage, Hitchin, Leighton Buzzard, Watford
Up to £38,000 per annum + Early finish on Friday + Life Assurance + Training + Progression

An excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and industry-leading company.

This company has been established for over 200 years. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This is a day-based role offering a good work-life balance.

This role suits individuals with Electrical and Mechanical experience, living within commuting distance from Luton, seeking a new role within a reputable company where they can develop their skills further.

The Role:

• Assist in developing planned preventative maintenance schedules, perform repairs on various plant/machines and equipment, including moving, installing, and repositioning machines and equipment. Conduct inspections for electrical services (110v, 240v, and 415v three-phase), including wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, relays, timers, and controls. Manufacture spare parts as needed (simple brackets, gaskets, etc.) using lathes, milling machines, welding equipment, etc.
• 37 hours, Monday to Thursday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 3:15 pm; Fridays 7:00 am to 1:00 pm or 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
• Excellent training and development opportunities, 5% pension, 4x life assurance, 28 days holiday plus option to purchase an additional 8 days, employee discounts.

The Person:

• Background in Mechanical & Electrical maintenance
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Formal IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 qualification or equivalent.
