Job Description

Our client is an established manufacturing business, who are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. We are seeking candidates with previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment to take on a Monday to Friday (days) based role at our client's production facility in Leicester.

The Role:

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for undertaking preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on electrical systems and equipment. Your duties as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, identify root causes, and repair safely.
  2. Repair or replace faulty components e.g., motors, switches, wiring, circuit breakers, etc.
  3. Maintenance and repair of production machinery including conveyors, lifting equipment, and more.
  4. Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems and equipment as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate records of work undertaken and maintain PPM systems.
Candidate:

You will be hardworking, enthusiastic, and highly motivated. Experience within a Maintenance Engineering position is required. Understanding of PLCs is beneficial, but not essential.

Hours Of Work:

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
