Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off / Days & Nights
Are you an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer looking to join a fast-paced and growing food manufacturing business? We are seeking a proactive and technically strong engineer to join our well-established maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment.
Diagnosing faults on mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled machinery.
Working closely with the production team to reduce downtime and improve performance.
Participating in continuous improvement projects and contributing to equipment upgrades.
Maintaining high standards of safety, food hygiene, and engineering best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a food or FMCG environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar).
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and BRC standards is advantageous.
Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, City & Guilds).
