Job description

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for the next step in your career? Our client, a global manufacturing company is expanding their Engineering team at their site in Hull. Working closely with the Engineering Manager across Monday to Friday, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair activities ensuring plant and equipment are operating at peak performance.


Key responsibilities:
  1. Minimising downtime by swiftly diagnosing and repairing breakdowns
  2. Carrying out preventative maintenance to keep things running efficiently
  3. Installing and upgrading equipment to enhance production capabilities
  4. Updating maintenance records and liaising with suppliers for parts
  5. Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards at all times
  6. Collaborating with manufacturers to troubleshoot technical issues
  7. Attending site when required to work overtime as and when the business demands are to be met
The candidate:
  1. Experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing setting essential.
  2. 17th Edition preferred
  3. A knowledge and understanding of PLC's within a fast paced FMCG environment
On offer:
  1. A full time permanent position working 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and early finish Friday
