Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for the next step in your career? Our client, a global manufacturing company is expanding their Engineering team at their site in Hull. Working closely with the Engineering Manager across Monday to Friday, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair activities ensuring plant and equipment are operating at peak performance.
- Minimising downtime by swiftly diagnosing and repairing breakdowns
- Carrying out preventative maintenance to keep things running efficiently
- Installing and upgrading equipment to enhance production capabilities
- Updating maintenance records and liaising with suppliers for parts
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards at all times
- Collaborating with manufacturers to troubleshoot technical issues
- Attending site when required to work overtime as and when the business demands are to be met
- Experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing setting essential.
- 17th Edition preferred
- A knowledge and understanding of PLC's within a fast paced FMCG environment
- A full time permanent position working 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and early finish Friday
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
