Job summary

Greenyard is seeking an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias to join the Engineering team at Greenyard Frozen UK, Kings Lynn site. You will respond to breakdowns, perform scheduled maintenance, and drive improvements across the processing lines.

With a strong electrical focus, you will fault-find, operate boiler systems, and uphold H&S and HACCP standards while working rotating shifts and covering overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG/food processing environment.
• Strong electrical engineering bias with multi-skilled capability.
• Boiler operating experience.
• Solid understanding of health & safety regulations.
• PLC fault-finding/diagnostic skills.
• HACCP knowledge.
• Electrical test and inspection trained.
• Welding trained.
• Breathing apparatus and confined spaces qualified.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out scheduled maintenance.
• Be proactive in reducing downtime and improving processes.
• Fault-find using machine history and documentation.
• Support production areas and work flexibly with staff.
• Carry out engineering project work as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We ae seeking an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias to join our engineering team at Greenyard Frozen UK, based at our site in Kings Lynn, Norfolk

• To support the processing operations by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns, carrying out scheduled maintenance work and being proactive on the correction and modification of reoccurring machine processing faults
• To respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and ensure maximum focus is given to their nominated production area
• To fault find in an effective and efficient manner whilst utilising the various machines historic / information documentation
• To establish harmonious relations with the operational staff and to work flexibly with them
• Pro-active in the reduction of engineering downtime and continuous improvement of the process and the department
• Carry out engineering project work
• Other relevant duties as required from time to time.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Relevant experience within a FMCG/food processing/ manufacturing environment
• Relevant experience in industrial and electrical engineering (multi skilled) but stronger bias in electrical
• Formal qualification in both Mechanical and Electrical EngineeringBoiler operating experience
• Strong understanding of H&S
• PLC Fault finding/diagnostic skills
