A leading industrial laundry service provider in Kendal is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 plus overtime and a flexible two-shift pattern. Responsibilities include maintenance of various mechanical systems and opportunities for upskilling. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical skills and some electrical knowledge, with junior engineers also considered.

Qualifications

Kendal | £40,000 + overtime | 2-shift pattern (early/late)


The Company:
An established industrial laundry service is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the mechanical upkeep of plant equipment. You'll join a flexible, safety-conscious team that invests in training and upskilling.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintenance & repair of steam boilers, washers, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, belts, motors, valves, etc.

  • Occasional electrical fault-finding on PLCs

  • Supporting essential repairs during weekend overtime (optional)

  • Welding/fabrication and mechanical work
