Job summary

Kinetic plc is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a contract basis in Holywell. The role involves fault finding on PLC systems, working with pneumatics, pumps, tanks and conveyors, and performing planned maintenance across a manufacturing setting.

You will join a small maintenance team on double day shifts (7:00-15:00 / 14:00-22:00) with 1 weekend in 6 on-call, and a weekend callout payment. Apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical engineering and 18th Edition desirable.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years' maintenance experience in manufacturing or process environments.
• Apprentice trained in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 18th Edition electrical qualification desirable.
• Strong fault-finding skills (electrical and/or mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and fault finding on PLC-controlled systems.
• Working with pneumatics, pumps, tanks, conveyors and associated plant.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Contract

Our client, a leading manufacturer & part of a multi-site organisation, require a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, initially on a contract basis.This position is working on double days shift (7:00am-3:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm) paying 40 - 45k per annum + £280 weekend *callout payment. *On call 1 weekend in 6.You will be part of a small maintenance team and the position is based in the Holywell area, commutable from the South Wirral, Deeside, Wrexham, Chester areas.

Details:To be considered for the role the following experience/skills is required;

• * Apprentice trained in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• * Strong manufacturing background in reactive & PPM work.

Key Responsibilities:

• * Maintenance and fault finding on PLC-controlled systems
• * Working with pneumatics, pumps, tanks, conveyors and associated plant
