North East Lincolnshire, Grimsby

A vacancy has arisen with a leading name in food processing for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team and provide skilled support in premises maintenance and machinery repair.

Shift Pattern: Week 1 Monday – Friday 6am – 4pm, Week 2 Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 10am – 8pm, Sat 8am – 2pm

Main Duties:
  • Ensuring plant equipment is operating correctly
  • Maintaining equipment daily to ensure functionality
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards daily
  • Driving improvements in quality, cost, and safety
  • Assisting production with machinery issues and setups, providing training as needed
  • Completing maintenance check sheets and job cards
The Person:
  • BTEC/C&G in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Post-apprenticeship experience in food manufacturing essential
  • 18th Edition training would be advantageous
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, responsibility, and commitment
