Marley is a specialist in pitched roof systems and a division of Marshalls plc, the UK’s leading hard landscaping, building, and roofing products supplier.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Burton manufacturing facility. Here, we are responsible for around 40% of the company’s concrete roofing products. This is a real team environment, and we are all committed to producing a great product!
Our Engineers work on a Dupont-style shift pattern, which is 2 Days, 1 off, 2 nights, 4 off, 4 days, 1 off, 3 nights, 4 off with start and finish times being 6 am or 6 pm respectively. If work-life balance is important to you, this role will suit you well.
What’s the role about?
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
You'll undertake a variety of engineering tasks, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure. You’ll work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems and will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site. You'll also contribute to the overall safe operation of plant and equipment, safety, quality, waste, and OEE targets.
