The Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all machinery, equipment, and facilities are operating efficiently. You'll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), respond to breakdowns, and work with the team to improve reliability across the site.


Key responsibilities include:




  • Conducting both electrical and mechanical maintenance




  • Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions




  • Performing scheduled PPM tasks to minimise downtime




  • Supporting continuous improvement projects




  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations




About You:



  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment




  • Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems (multi-skilled desirable)




  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities




  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, City & Guilds) in Engineering or related field




  • A proactive, team-focused approach
