Job summary

The Cornwall Bakery, part of Samworth Brothers, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to keep lines running safely and efficiently at our Cornwall site. You’ll maintain and repair production and packaging equipment, diagnose faults, and drive reliability improvements across automated lines.

• Proven experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical engineering skills.+qualification focusing on electrical engineering.
• Confident fault-finding on automated machinery and production equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and doing the job right first time.
• Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills.

• Work closely with production and engineering colleagues across shifts.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues per site procedures.

As a Multi‑Skilled Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our production sites running safely and efficiently. You’ll work with a wide range of modern food manufacturing equipment, carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and improving reliability across our lines.
