TeknikalSpecialist Recruitment are recruiting for a Multiskilled Shift Engineer in Bourne, Peterborough.

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 DOE + Company Pension + 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Your Role

You will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing electrical & mechanical faults, and supporting production efficiency across electrical, electronic, and some mechanical systems. You will also contribute to projects, stock management, process improvement, and maintaining high safety standards.

What You'll Need:
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Competent in both mechanical and electrical areas
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Preventative maintenance, electrical fault finding on PLCs and motors, AC/DC drives and motors
  • Proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to carry out PPM of machines and plant, including extruders, moulders, bottle finishing, testing, and packing machinery
  • Willingness to work a weekly rotating shift pattern: Mon-Thu 6am-4pm, 2pm-12am, 11pm-7am, with occasional overtime on Fridays as required
