Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bedford

Shift: Days only

Salary: £42K - £48K

We are looking for a motivated multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join a glass processing company. Reporting directly to the engineering manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, while additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. Role Responsibilities:

• Providing both Reactive & PPM maintenance
• Machine breakdowns
• Sensors, drives, relays, inverters
• Conveyors, bearings, belts, chains
• Adhering to all health & safety regulations on site

Skills and Qualifications:

• Maintenance experience
• Glass processing / cutting machinery experience - essential
• BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or higher
• Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
• Mechanical & electrical experience - desirable
